I definitely should have posted this before, but when you only update 2-3 times a month, things get lost in the shuffle. Anyway, THIS FRIDAY (9.26.08) will see the record release shows for Lucky Pineapple’s “The Bubble Has Burst in Sky City” CD. What? Shows? Yeah, a free show at Ear X-Tacy and then a show at Glassworks all in the same night.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26
First: In-store performance at Ear X-Tacy Records (1534 Bardstown Rd.) at 8pm SHARP. This is all ages and free!
Then: Record Release Party at the Glassworks Building (815 W. Market, on the first floor)
Our friends Push-Pull (from Bloomington) will be opening the show, then we’ll play a set, and then the OK DeeJays (Dj’s Narwhal and A. Bell) will be doing their thing until like 2am. Other weirdness includes (but is definitely not limited to) fire spinning by the Phoenix Collective and hopefully the blowing of a glass pineapple…
Beer from Cumberland Brews will be on hand, the sales from which go to benefit Ohio Valley Creative Energy.
Doors open at 9pm.
This show is also all ages, beer/other alcohol with ID.
Admission is $3 or free with receipt of purchase of our CD.
