Greetings to all, here with a quick update –
MODERN PROBLEMS Print Available Now
This one has been in the works for a while and I’m very excited to announce my first official art print – Modern Problems, available now from ShirtKiller.com. This is a massive 18×24″ screenprint of the design from Coliseum’s t-shirt of the same name, in a signed and numbered edition of 50. It’s screenprinted with water-based ink on heavy 100lb French Speckletone Starch Rain paper. Super psyched on this one.
COLISEUM No Salvation LP third pressing
After a few months of being out of print, the third vinyl pressing of No Salvation finally arrived at Shirt Killer last week. Even though it looked like some of the boxes had been drop-kicked during shipping, all the records and jackets are in good shape. There are 500 copies in this pressing – 150 on “Oil & Gasoline” colored vinyl and 350 on “Blood & Urine” colored vinyl. Classy, huh? You can get this sucker now from Shirt Killer or from us on tour, although it’s probable the more limited color will be gone by then.
COLISEUM True Quiet / Last Wave 7” on Deathwish
The Coliseum 7” on Deathwish is still in the manufacturing stages, but will hopefully be finished in time for our tour beginning in March. So far it’s been a little cursed… The plates disappeared in mail between Aardvark Mastering and the pressing plant, and about half of vellum covers were shredded during printing… It’s going to be an awesome record, if it makes it through the manufacturing!
The AUX Blog
I’m not sure if I ever mentioned in the Auxiliary newsletters that in lieu of my usual outdated label and design websites and MySpace pages, I’ve created the Auxiliary blog. The blog keeps up with Auxiliary releases, the stories behind our past releases, downloads of hard to find or unreleased music, Coliseum & Young Widows tour dates, various design projects I’ve worked on, and any other random related bits that I feel like posting.
