Endpoint Weekend events

I’m sure that if you’ve had your eyes and ears open lately, you know the next few days will be packed (CJ article). Here’s a (kinda-current) rundown of just about everything happening this weekend:

Endpoint, Sunspring, Big Wheel reunionsFriday –

Endpoint/Sunspring/Big Wheel/Shedding – 7pm @ Headliner’s (tickets may still be available). Proceeds go to Jason Noble, and Mark Brickey’s EP poster will be available, as will (likely) Rise: The Kinghorse Tribute Compilation.

Post-Endpoint show @ Lisa’s Oak St. with Centipede E’est (Pittsburgh), Ampire. $3, starts whenever EP is done.

Endpoint, Cerebellum, Face Value reunion showSaturday –

Straight A’s – free in-store @ Ear X-tacy at 4pm to support their new Noise Pollution release entitled “Self Help” (12″/CD)

Endpoint/Face Value/Cerebellum/Interstates – 7pm @ Headliner’s (tickets maybe available on the forums or craigslist). Keep in mind that Mark Brickey’s posters will be on sale, as well as the new Cerebellum 12″ AND Rise: The Kinghorse Tribute Compilation. All of which are top-notch (excluding usage of flange pedals). Bring $$$ and remember that all of this will be sending money to Jason Noble’s cancer treatments and recovery.

For those not aware, Cerebellum will be playing a second reunion show in support of the aforementioned Noise Pollution release on July 31st @ Skull Alley. More information sure to come.

Frontier(s), Open Fields afterpartyFrontier(s)/Open Fields – EP show afterparty @ Zanzabar on Preston St. 11pm, $3. – Frontier(s) will be playing a song from one of their former bands, which could be any of the following or more – Falling Forward, Elliott, Stay Gold, Champion, Mouthpiece, Automatic.. I don’t feel like listing the rest and those are the more likely candidates anyway.

Sunday –

Duncan Barlow will be signing his novel Super Cell Anemia. Carmichael’s Books at 2720 Frankfort Ave. 4pm.

And then at 6pm, Endpoint, Coliseum, and Straight A’s will be playing at Skull Alley. It’ll be $5. And it’ll probably be tight for space. Get there on time, your not-so-fashionably late ass will likely be left on the street.
