• RISE AGAINST TOUR WRAPPING UP:

We’re in Europe with just three more dates left with Rise Against, then four last shows on our own. This tour was been quite a trip… The audiences have been between 1500 and 5500 a night and they have been shockingly receptive, especially considering we are an entirely new band to nearly all of them. I don’t think we ever pictured thousands of people pogo-ing to “Blind In One Eye” or clapping their hands above their heads to “Crime And The City,” but it’s pretty awesome to experience. Everyone in Rise Against and their crew have been incredible and we can’t thank them enough.

• MAY US/CANADA TOUR DATES:

As you know, we can’t sit still for long, so we’ll be touring Eastern US/Canada in May for the first time since last Summer and we’ll be bringing some of our favorite bands along for some of the shows. We’ll be joined on certain dates by our new pals The Austerity Program, old friends Sweet Cobra, and Gods & Queens (who toured with us in an altered form way back in 2004). Check out the dates below and hopefully we’ll see you at the shows.

• SPLIT 7″ WITH SUPERCHUNK OUT ON APRIL 16th:

Our split 7″ of Misfits covers with Superchunk will be released for Record Store Day on April 16th. TRL and Merge boosted the pressing up to 2000 copies, but they are probably going to go quickly regardless. We’ll have a few to sell on Shirt Killer and on tour, if that much, so grab what you can while you can. We’re still in shock that this is happening!

• LIVE SPLIT LP/CD WITH BURNING LOVE COMING SOON:

Okay, so we have a hard time slowing down with releases… It’s just so much fun: the music, the packaging, working with friends and new people on projects… In that spirit, we have teamed up with Burning Love for a split release, recorded live at the Atlantic in Gainesville during our North American tour last year. The LP will be released in May by Gainesville’s Sound Study Recordings, who recorded the show, and will be limited to 1000 copies. The CD version is also limited to 1000 copies, will include additional bonus tracks and be released in July by Tee Pee Records. Both the LP and CD versions come in beautiful letterpressed, hand assembled packages printed by Dexterity Press in Brooklyn (run by Shipping News / Rodan member Jeff Mueller). We’ll have more info as things progress.
