Thanks to the mighty efforts of Nicholas Haynes and Cullen CookiePus Clark, there’s a full calendar of things to keep you busy for September 2010 if you’re living in or visiting Louisville. And if you’re thinking of setting up a last minute show, you know what dates to avoid as well. For more info on the calendar, check out the forums.
This coming weekend will see both the 21+ (Saturday) and the All-ages reunion shows from Indignant Few, Bush League, and Son Of Dog. Please remember that if you’re planning on going to these shows that they were moved to the Vernon Club on Story Ave. And rumor has it that you will not want to wear clothes that you wouldn’t wear to see Gwar. In prep for the show, LEO did an interview with Keator from Indignant Few which you can read over on their site (and I assume the current issue which is out today). Additionally, you can listen to tracks from the bands over at the Louisville Music Archive site. (Sancred is on there too!).
Lee Van Cleef are set to release their 2nd full length CD entitled “Terror, Blood”, to be released on Dunkenstein Records. To celebrate the release, the band will be playing a free in store show at ear X-tacy August 27th (THIS Friday), and another show @ Zanzabar the following day (Saturday August 28th). Joining them the second show will be Second Story Man and Straight A’s.
You can see LEO talking about the record here, and here are some links to song previews:
