The Punk/Hardcore Guide To…..

April 4th, 2005

Well, while I’m working on getting the message board back up, as well as preparing the April mp3s of the month (to be announced in the next 2 days), i’ve gotten sidetracked with other updates. An index page for The Punk/Hardcore Guide To Louisville has been prepared, and pictures have been taken for many of the places listed throughout the section. Better resturaunt reviews and whatnot will also be put into place shortly. And speaking of Punk/Hardcore guides, the Hardcore/Punk Guide To Christianity will be mirrored on this site soon as well as being reprinted in the near future.
p.s. the Kinghorse mp3s and videos will be up as soon as my future site hoster gets my stuff set up on their server.

Message Board

April 4th, 2005

The forums will be down for a day or two. I’m working on the database and trying to get it ready to move to the new server.
It went down this morning for some unknown reason (maybe I accidentally did something, who knows/cares)…, and although I have a perfectly up-to-date back up from last night, I won’t have a chance to stick the backup files in place til maybe wednesday afternoon. (And I mean shit, it’s fuckin’ nice outside, go play in the damn sun! you don’t need a message board to run your life/entertainment/news gathering)
For anyone that hasn’t noticed, I put some messages on the contact page regarding show submissions. Some of you people/bands are driving me fucking nuts. Get a grip. And if you are just some douchebag frat-rock band, don’t bother with this site.

Local Internet Radio

March 27th, 2005

For anyone that hasn’t noticed, Louisville Showcase has set up a streaming radio deal, jam packed w/ local music. Shit, I’m sitting here right now jamming to Omnicron by Guilt. Hit up the LS site, there’s a link to the stream on the right side of every page. You can’t miss it unless you’ve been snorting coke off the toilet seat at Cahooters all night.

Black Cross and Brick House news

March 27th, 2005

Black Cross will be reappearing on April 15th, 2005 at the newly opened Brick House. They haven’t played out since their free voter registration show @ Keswick w/ Second Story Man and Ayin in August 2004, so make sure to come by and catch them. And the Brick House hasn’t officially had open doors since August of 2002… so check out the restaffed/revamped center. Also appearing are Lords, Gaj Mustafa Cell, Ganthet (maybe), Ultra Pulverize, and One Small Step.
