Like Glue + Iron Mind showcase 2011

This’ll probably go down as the show of the Fall. Shit, I wish that was as catchy as “Show of the Summer”. Oh well, fuck it. There will be stage dives, high fives, smelly pits, overly clean dudes, pop punk jumps, angry growls, and pretty much anything most of you would want from a hardcore show regardless of your individual preferences. So try to make it out and support these locals and your pals if you know these guys, and try out something new if you’re not familiar with what’s going on. It’ll also be the 7″ release show for the Out Crowd/Written Off split, a new Enough 7″, and Another Mistake’s ‘Lies For Lust’ 7″. So bring some $$$ to pick up the new releases as well.

I’m going to go ahead and say that even though the flyer states “No fighting, no farting”, that I’m gonna crop dust the shit out of that living room.

These guys were bastions of Hobbit culture before Elijah Wood had ever heard of furry feet. And they’re going to be bringing their bollocks back to your ears this April. Keep your eye out for date, time, and venue.

Check out their site for Video, Audio downloads, and long-lost photos!

R.I.P. Bulldog Cafe’

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

Apparently the southend venue of choice over the past few years – Bulldog Cafe’ – is calling it quits this week. Darren, the owner, is moving all of his operations to his Brandenburg Location. A whole lot of people will miss that place, but probably not the pole in the center of the “pit”.
