Greetings all, just dropping a line as the last few weeks count down before
the release of our new album, House With A Curse, hits stores on June 22nd,
via Temporary Residence.
- “Everything To Everyone,” the second track from H.W.A.C., premiered today
exclusively from AbsolutePunk.net.
- Pre-orders: Temporary Residence is still offering pre-orders, but the
limited black/white splattered vinyl is running out quickly. When you
pre-order the record you will be automatically entered into a contest to win
a copy of one of the test pressings and all LP orders will receive the
deluxe embossed / spot gloss jackets, which we are really excited about – it
- Louisville Mixtape: Our pals at the Land Animal blog asked me to put
together a mix tape featuring my favorite songs from Louisville. It took me
a few months to put together, but I finally obliged and included extensive
liner notes / anecdotes. If I was still 16 years old, this is more or less
the tape I would’ve made for you. Obviously I excluded any band that I was
ever a member of, so no Coliseum, Black Cross / Widows, National Acrobat,

Coliseum joins Temporary Residence and readies new record

Greetings all! We’ve been hiding out for many months working on our third long-player and putting plans into place for 2010. I’m happy to announce that the record is complete and our friends at Temporary Residence will be releasing it this summer! We couldn’t be happier about working with Temporary Residence, they’re one of the greatest labels out there, with strong Louisville roots and hearts that are in the right place. Our years working with Relapse were incredible and we have nothing but great things to say about everyone there, but we felt that it was time for a change. It’s an entirely amicable move on all sides and joining Brooklyn-based Temporary Residence, who began in Louisville and have grown to be one of the biggest and best indie labels in the world, is very exciting for us.
