Couldn’t Be Everybody – two new EPs to check out

You may think that Issac Hale has had more than enough going on – with Nine Eyes still popping up every once in a while, xWeaponx, Two Witnesses, recording things here and there, and of course the monster that is Knocked Loose. Well… you’d be wrong. Last week, he dropped two new EPs from two different new projects. Issac is singing in both bands, though they’re both different styles. On the Hardcore side of things, there’s Couldn’t Be Me, with a 5 song s/t EP. Old school-ish vibes with very modern production and tones, overlaid with some snarling vocals, perfect for fingerpointing and stage dives. The other one is far more into the death metal/hardcore crossover thing that has been going on, Everybody Dies also coming through with a 5 track s/t EP. The name is pretty indicative of what’s going to brutally happen when they play some shows. Everybody is dying in that pit unless we work out how to harness spinkicks to power the venue. Not to make this only about Issac, because also involved are Chandler Daub (Two Witnesses), Skyler Storm (Walk Alone/Brainseed/All Gods Die), and Blake Smith (Surfaced). If I’m missing people, sorry just let me know. With this crew, keep an eye out for some shows probably coming up soon when KL and Surfaced aren’t on tour.

You can find both records up on Spotify for now, hopefully there will be physical releases or at least Bandcamp accounts up in the near future. If you follow Issac on Instagram, he also has a post up with video of recording the Everybody Dies tracks.
