2026 New Releases

Louisville’s hitting 2026 hard from the getgo, with some new bands and some old (old old) favorites announcing new releases and reissues. Here’s a non-exhaustive list, there’s definitely more to add:

Takeaway – demo 2026
You may not recognize the name, but you probably will soon. Takeaway is a new band who hasn’t played out yet. You’ll surely recognize the kids from shows though and you’ll get to see them at Camp Spaceman on. The demo kicks off with a mid-tempo intro that is mostly instrumental other than ‘Takeaway!’ gang vocals. The demo is short, sweeet, straightforward hardcore and I can already see the pileons coming. The demo wraps up with a pretty faithful and well done cover of Outburst’s ‘Thin Ice‘, off of their 1989 Miles To Go record. No word yet on physical copies, but you can find it streaming/buy it digitally on Bandcamp

New Knocked Loose track ‘Hive Mind’
Knocked Loose is back with a heavy track called ‘Hive Mind‘. Featuring Denzel Curry, the track takes what you know KL for and spins it around a little with great heavy gang vocals.
The track is available on streaming and as a 12″ in three colors from knockedloose.com. The 12″ is a preorder and will ship around 4/24/2026. The video, filmed in part at the Dave Armstrong skate park here in Louisville last year, is up on YouTube now.

EndpointAftertaste + The Last Record
As rumored, Equal Vision is following up last year’s Catharsis reissue with another vinyl/digital drop. This run will combine 1993’s Aftertaste from Doghouse Records, 1994’s The Last Record, and the Circumvent / 26 Seconds 7″. Remastered and pressed on 4 different colors of vinyl, you can preorder from the Equal Vision site or Bandcamp. The records should be out around the time of the two-night sold out Endpoint reunion weekend (March 20th/21st), which is a fundraiser for Americana Center. For the collectors, know that there’s 4 colors but only 2 are available on the EV site. The orange color is a ‘band exclusive’ and will available at the reunion shows, not sure about the 4 color yet. Pre-orders are set to ship around March 25th while the digital version is streaming now.
