Mean Mugg’d – Save Face EP

Mean Mugg’d has released their newest EP. Debuting this past Friday with their show at the new Camp Spaceman, Save Face has 5 songs, including the single Stocking Lettuce that dropped a few weeks back. The new EP has two different covers depending on where you’re listening online – there’s a very colorful youth-crew-ish cover up on Spotify that is a kind of refreshing break from all the death metal core looks from bands recently, and a stark white cover akin to a test pressing on Bandcamp.

Arafel – Selective Amnesia

For those going to shows through 2006-2010 or so, you may remember Arafel jumping back and forth and back again between the area’s metal and metalcore scenes. The band has remained friends and in contact over the years, and are now rolling out a newly remastered Selective Amnesia EP, originally released in 2008. The new version is available with some new art (via Kurt Ehnle) and is … everywhere. Spotify, Bandcamp, Pandora, Apple Music, Youtube, even Shazaam. Check out some of the links below and keep an eye out – guitarist Will Byerly hinted that there may be some new material floating in the ether.

LDB Fest 2026

Ash and Tyler are wasting no time, just days after LDB 2025 wrapped up the next one has been announced. The 2026 fest will see a venue change to Melwood Art Center and a date change back to late February, which may help as other fests have had date overlaps. A small number of early bird tickets are now available, with lineup announcements and more tickets coming later.

LDB Fest 2025 Info

It’s that time of year again, and as is tradition, there’s a pre-show to kick off the weekend. You can check it out tonight at Portal.
