Xerxes | Midnight Souls split 7" coverXerxes‘ next release will be a split with Midnight Souls from Belgium. Check out the haunting cover art to the left. The record will be out Spring 2011 on Mayfly Records (US), Assault Records (EUR), Fist In The Air Records (UK). For you collectors, I’m sure there will be a handfull of colors to pick up with three different labels having a hand in it.

Coliseum news

Greetings everyone, it’s been a while since a Coliseum update, mainly because we’ve been busy preparing new releases, writing new music, and planning for upcoming tours. I’ll try to keep it brief – but there’s a lot of cool stuff happening that we’re very excited about!

LOUISVILLE SHOW TONIGHT:
First off – If you’re in the Louisville area, we’re playing tonight at the Magnolia Bar & Grill (aka Mag Bar) with Sweet Cobra and Prideswallower, doors are at 9pm and the show is 21 and up. Mag Bar is at 1398 South 2nd Street (2nd & Magnolia) in Louisville.

EUROPEAN TOUR with RISE AGAINST in March:
Rise Against graciously invited us to join them for a couple of weeks of dates in Europe and we gladly accepted. It’s great to be heading right back over after our incredible recent European tour in November/December and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone again and playing in front of a lot of new faces. We’ll be doing headlining shows around the Rise Against dates, so check all of the dates below.

Hal Dolls and Rude Weirdo at Ear X-Tacy

Hal Dolls & Rude Weirdo will be playing Ear X-Tacy’s “After Dark” this Saturday. The show is at 8pm sharp, is Free and All Ages. Ear X-Tacy does ask that you bring a quality canned good (or five) to donate to Dare To Care. Also at this even, the store will have food named after various Louisville punk/hardcore/indie icons as well as a cash bar. And as soon as the show is over, you can pack up and head to the show at Cahoots.
